In 2020, Columbia Care, Inc. announced the acquisition of Project Cannabis, a company that manufactures and distributes products and goods that contain cannabis. Columbia Care Inc is a renowned brand that sells cannabis products and goods. The purchase of Project Cannabis helps it increase the variety of items it can provide for customers.
The acquisition of the California-based and award-winning company Project Cannabis also enables Columbia Care Inc to expand its customer base in the state and benefit from more income sources.
Columbia Care acquired all four locations and cost the company over $55 million. Columbia Care also designed a state-of-the-art facility in San Diego. The location serves as a meeting point where Columbia Care gathers all products and items extracted from the acquired company.
