Tinctures are some of the oldest medicines globally, and depending on the herb used to create them, they can bring many health benefits. There are two types of cannabis tinctures: those with CBD and those with THC. Industrial hemp tinctures contain high levels of cannabidiol and less than 0.3 percent tetrahydrocannabinol. They are an entirely legal product in the United States throughout all states. They can help relieve pain and improve sleep.

THC tinctures contain more than 0.3 percent THC, which is a dose legal in only a few states. THC tinctures can help people with epilepsy and reduce some anxiety symptoms. These tinctures can be used in a wide range of ways. For example, they can be absorbed sublingually or mixed into food or drink.
